Artquake Reveals Why They Have Not Release Song After Their Song "Alanta"

 

The singing duo of ADX (real name Adegbite Adeniran) and ICE-K (real name Tomomewo Olakunle) collectively known as Artquake have attributed taking a musical backseat to their respective marriages.
Widely known for their 2009 hit ‘Alanta’, the duo are yet to replicate the success of the dance-themed song.


Having released seven songs to lukewarm receptions, the duo said marriage played a huge role in the direction their career took.
‘When we released ‘Alanta,’ we slowed down because of marriage but that is natural. We also thought of diversifying and see what we could do apart from music to make money. That was what made us slow down but we did some music afterward,’ they told Punch in a recent chat.
